  • All (except Barney): What?
  • Barney: Let's take a trip to the Carnival of Learning!
  • All (except Barney): Huh?
  • Sabrina: What are you talking about, Barney?
  • Barney: Well, the Carnival of Learning is where you can play all kinds of fun games, and you get to learn the alphabet, your colors, shapes, and numbers, too! But for us to go to the Carnival of Learning, we must hold hands and say the magic words!
  • All: Shimbaree, Shimbarah! Shimbaree, Shimbarah!
  • (magic sparkles fill the air as the clubhouse playground now looks like a carnival)
  • (all adlib in excitement as we see the little dinos and kids in the playground, but with Barney out of sight)
  • Riff: Wowzer! This carnival looks totally tippity-top!
  • (all agree)
  • BJ: But wait, where's Barney?
  • (all adlib as Barney enters holding some tickets and is wearing his Carnival hat similar to the one in "Carnival of Numbers" and his carnival jacket)
  • Barney: Hello everyone, and welcome to the Carnival of Learning!
  • Noah: This place looks so much fun!
  • Barney: It is fun indeed, Noah! It is indeed! But first, you'll all need some tickets to play the carnival games! *hands everyone some tickets* Now, what would you like to do first?
  • (everyone looks around, as we see a bunch of tall numbers)
  • Sabrina: How about that Number Game?
  • Barney: OK then! Step right this way!
  • (they all walk towards the big numbers)
  • Baby Bop: Wow! Those are big numbers!
  • Barney: They sure are! You know, you can find numbers everywhere you look! You can count on your fingers or your toes, you can count how many ducks are swimming in the pond, and how many flowers are growing!
  • (music starts for "Numbers, Numbers")
  • Barney: Yes, there are numbers everywhere! Count the buttons on your shirt, count the pebbles in the dirt, count the bubbles as you blow, count the special friends you know! Count some fishies swimming deep, count some sheep before you sleep!
  • All: Just use your numbers, numbers. Counting here and counting there. We count with numbers everywhere.
  • Noah: Count your hats and coats and shoes.
  • Baby Bop: Count your pillows, blankies too.
  • Sabrina: Count the crayons on your desk. Red and yellow count the rest.
  • Riff: Count the rabbits in the yard.
  • BJ: Hurry, 'fore they run too far.
  • All: Just use your numbers, numbers! Counting here and counting there. We count with numbers everywhere.
  • (music ends)
  • Barney: OK, is everyone ready to play the game?
  • All (except Barney): Yeah!
  • Barney: OK! In this game, you have to put these numbers in order from 1-10! Each of you must give me two tickets to play the game!
  • (everyone gives Barney some tickets and a montage plays as the little dinos and kids adlib and work on putting the numbers in order)
  • Brandon: OK, Barney. We're done!

  • Baby Bop: I don't know, I'll try! One, two, three, four...Oh, I forgot what number this is!
  • Barney: Don't worry, Baby Bop! Maybe there's another way you can learn how to count to 10. Does anyone have any ideas?
  • Riff: I know! Maybe we can help Baby Bop with a Number Rhyme! Rhymes alway's help me remember things!
  • Barney: That's a super-dee-duper idea, Riff! And I know a perfect rhyme!
  • (music starts for "One, Two Buckle My Shoe")

  • Noah: What game is this, Barney?
  • Barney: This is an Alphabet Game, Noah! In this game, you must take these letters, and spell a word with them! Words like this! *blows a whistle as the letters come to life and only three of them come together to make a word* See? E-A-R spells...
  • All (except Barney and Baby Bop): Ear!
  • Barney: Right! And here's another one! *blows whistle again as three letters come together to spell a word* R-E-D spells...
  • All (except Barney and Baby Bop): Red!
  • Barney: Right again! Now try to spell a word with all six of these letters! But first, you'll each need to give me one ticket to play this game!
  • (everyone gives Barney a ticket, then a montage plays of the kids mixing around the letters, but after many failed attempts, they finally start spelling out the word "Parade")
  • BJ: And the last letter goes right there!

  • Barney: Well, let's see...great job, everyone! You spelled the correct word! P-A-R-A-D-E spells...

  • Barney: In this game, you must take each of these shapes, and fit them onto this giant puzzle!
  • BJ: But how can we carry these huge puzzle pieces?
  • Barney: You'll all have to work together to carry the puzzle pieces! Now in this game, you'll need three tickets to play!
