Special Friends is the final episode of Season 15 of Barney & Friends.
While playing at the playground, Barney comes to life and decides to show the kids a surprise. It turns out to be a scrapbook. He takes pictures of each of the kids and tells them that their each special in their own way. The kids ask what makes them special, and to answer that question, Barney decides that they can spend the day reading their favorite books, playing their favorite games, and more. They learn that they don't have to like the same things that another likes, too. Later on, more of Barney's friends and get their pictures taken, too. Barney says that one day, he'll look back at the pictures and will remind him how special his friends are to him. In return, the group draws a picture for Barney to put in his scrapbook, and the kids tell Barney he's special, too, and tell their favorite moments they had with him. Jenna tells Barney he helped her realize that her parents would still love her when the new baby is born, Cody tells him that the purple dude helped him realize that good things come to those who wait, and Sabrina says Barney helped her feel better when her grandmother died, and Barney helps Brandon get over his stage-fright. Then the cast sings "I Love You" and they all go home.
