"The New Kid" is the sixth episode of Season 16 of Barney and Friends it aired November 24, 2015. It is a semi-remake of the Season 1 classic Be a Friend.
Plot[]
Mackenzie is the new girl at school, sad and lonely without friends. Barney comes to life and tries to see whats what's wrong with her, at first Mackenzie is startled by the big purple dino but he introduces himself and his friends to her. They all discover he importance of making new friends, Barney and the kids make Mackenzie a welcome gift.
